BLAIR CHAMBERS

Blair Lee Chambers, age 73, of Moundsville, WV passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 in WVU-Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

He was born June 3, 1950 in Glen Dale, WV the son of the late, Charles William “Bill” and Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Blair Chambers.

He retired from AEP Kammer Plant and was a Methodist by faith.

Blair was an avid car enthusiast with a passion for restoration and attending car shows, and was a member of the Drifters Car Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Charles William “Chuck” Chambers, III; and a step mother, Jane Montgomery Chambers.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (James) Francis of Wheeling and Libby Chambers of Glen Easton; a brother, Charles William “Bill” (Sharon) Chambers II of Williamstown, WV; a nephew, Dr. Craig (Anne) Chambers; his longtime companion, Tammy Cumpston and her children, Trace Shiben, Randi Shiben, Tilynn Holmes, Katie Novotney, and Emily Novotney; and several grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard,WV.
