She was born May 24, 1951 in Columbia, MO daughter of the late Richard and Nancy Lewis Merinar.

Susan was a retired office manager from Kindercare Learning Center in Germantown, MD and a Presbyterian by Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul “Dave” Michael.

Survivors include two daughters: Trisha (David) Fox and Wendi Smith; five grandchildren: Courtney (Joseph) Wilson, Shawn Smith, Devin, Derek and Kyleigh Fox; five great grandchildren: Camryn, Chloe, Liam, Dakota and Isla; two sisters: Ruth Keefer and Nancy (Clark) Graham; one brother: Richard (Denise) Merinar and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling with Ed Long officiating.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
